Surrey Surveyors are based in Cobham & Esher. We offer local surveying services to Surrey and the surrounding areas. Our surveyors are all locally based; a long time ago, some even attended local schools and colleges such as Parkside, Reeds and Godalming College. Our surveyors combine their expertise as fully qualified RICS Surveyors with in-depth local knowledge to provide specialist RICS Condition, Homebuyer & Building Surveys, Party Wall Services and RICS Valuations.

At Surrey Surveyors we provide comprehensive RICS reports and surveys for properties in and around Surrey.

These surveys differ from a Mortgage Valuation Report undertaken by the lender. A Mortgage Valuation inspection and report is a specific type of assessment done by the lender to confirm the property's value and to see if the property will be suitable security for the loan. Whereas we act to identify problems and potential issues and defects and highlight where further investigations are required.  To understand property in the best detail possible, an official survey performed by an industry professional will help to give you the best insight into any defects within a property and prevent getting caught out in the future. 

 

Reports we offer: 

 

  • L1 Conditions Report - This type of survey issues a basic overview of the risks a property may include, as well as the property's initial condition. 

 

  • L2 HomeBuyers Report - In this type of survey, we would look to highlight any evident defects within the property and evaluate the overall building condition. This type of report is best suited to more modern and straightforward properties. 

 

  • L3 Building Survey - This type of report offers a comprehensive assessment of the property. The detailed nature of this report allows buyers to understand every aspect of the property they are purchasing. This type of survey is best suited to older and/or more complex properties.

Our RICS-certified surveyors offer a high standard of service, going above and beyond to help buyers & homeowners understand their property. A standard survey usually consists of complex terminology and a handful of photos to show any defects, however, at Surrey Surveyors we differ in that we do not put a cap on how many images our clients are sent, we include numbered photos within each section of the report and our reports are written in layman's terms. We cater to the individual needs of each property. Our main aim is to provide a thorough report for our clients.
